2024-08-21 Update Infomation

AstroPayload CMS

I'm pleased to inform you that we've updated our website and related systems on 21th August 2024 (JST). Allow me to provide you with the details.

In a nutshell

  • We've implemented substantial updates to our CMS, including the addition of a tagging feature.
  • Due to significant internal changes, some posts are currently not visible.
    • We'll be restoring them gradually.

Update Details

CMS

While this system is for Atalie's use and not accessible to external parties, we've made considerable changes that we'd like to share.

  • We've implemented a tagging feature.
  • We've added a category function.
  • SEO optimisation is now available within the posting feature.

Website

  • The website now corresponds with the aforementioned CMS updates, allowing tags to be visible.
  • We've primarily adjusted the layout for news and blog sections.

Points to Note

We're currently making changes to the database to accommodate the new tag and category features. As a result, some articles are temporarily hidden, but we'll be restoring them progressively. We appreciate your understanding.

Future Update Plans

We're planning the following updates, with the possibility of additional changes as needed:

Overall

  • A comprehensive design review
    • We're currently experimenting with colour schemes in some areas to compare readability.
  • Preparation of an image delivery system
  • Adjustment of language transitions
  • Implementation of a search function

Updates for Newsroom and Blog Pages

  • Addition of category and tag filters on news and blog list pages
  • Implementation of code blocks
  • Display of table of contents
  • Display of supplementary information
  • Display of mathematical equations (considering implementation in Typst format)

Other

  • Addition of web pages such as Music/Game pages

Closing Remarks

At present, we're still in the process of deciding how to implement certain features, such as the search function and the display of mathematical equations. We plan to conduct various comparisons and evaluations, and we'll be sharing this process through our blog posts.
